Attorney Bio.

Susan Billeaud is an Atlanta Business Attorney who assists small- to mid-sized businesses in a wide variety of industries and locations with services such as: business planning and entity selection, asset protection, contracts, regulatory compliance, minority- and women-owned business certification, commercial litigation, employment law, and trade secret and idea protection.

Her insight into what it takes for a minority or woman-owned business to attain and retain third-party certification was gained directly through service on the Greater Women's Business Counsel's Certification Committee.

Additionally, Susan is an avid writer and speaker on business law, asset protection, and other legal subjects.  Ms. Billeaud has presented several seminars, including I Love L.L.C.s, Keeping Up With What Can Shut You Down, and Contract Law: What You Should Know Before You Sign, at annual conventions and in a variety of other continuing education contexts. She has written, produced and hosted a weekly legal interview television program, Talk About Law.

In her collaboration with other attorneys, Susan also has written several successful briefs heard by the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court.

Ms. Billeaud is currently admitted to practice law and active in Georgia and Louisiana, and admitted and inactive in Alabama and Texas. She earned her law degree cum laude, in 2000 from Cumberland Law School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and her bachelor of arts degree in economics at Louisiana State University in 1991.
